I have regularly come for lunch for the last three years and love love love Assa! They offer tasty and affordable lunch options but don’t be afraid to explore the rest of their menu - I always like to try a variety of their food! The music is always great and the staff are lovely! It’s difficult to find places in Soho that offer a proper sit down meal for lunch that’s nourishing but doesn’t cost you loads and that’s why Assa is my go-to (especially in the winter time when you want a hot bowl of food and a warm place to spend your lunch break)!- Wait time

I had a great time at Assa! The place felt cozy and welcoming 😊. The food was super tasty 🇰🇷—full of real, bold flavors. The staff were kind and helpful, and made sure we understood the menu 👍. You can tell they care about their food and guests. Whether you're trying Korean food for the first time or love it already, this spot is worth visiting. I’ll be back soon! 👏

The food was delicious, I would definitely come back again to try other items on the menu. The restaurant is walk in only, the queue does move fast. The staff are very attentive and the food came out very quick despite being super busy. From the flavours to the portion size, this place did not disappoint and it was halal.

I come here at least once a month because the food is delicious and priced well. My favourites are the beef bulgogi, the scallion pancakes and the boneless chicken in sweet and spicy sauce. Their drinks selection is really impressive as they have a wide range of flavours. I like the lychee soda personally. The service is very quick, I gave the atmosphere 3* as it's quite packed and loud in there but I guess that's what makes it so reasonably priced. Always looking forward to coming here ❤️- Service

We went there twice during our vacation in London. Overall, the food is really good, probably the best Korean food I’ve had in London for the price.
There’s also a lot of variety on the menu: the jajjang rabokki very tasty, the bibimbap is good, the jajjangmyeon is amazing and the budae jjigae was okay.
The first time was great, we were seated quickly, and the noise level was moderate.
But the second time was more chaotic, with a long queue. We waited around 50 minutes to be seated, and unfortunately, we were placed next to a loud group of young foreign visitors who shouted non-stop. It became quite bothersome, and the people sitting to our left were clearly annoyed too.
Of course, I know the staff can't really do much about rude and uneducated customers, but I felt it was worth mentioning.
So just be mindful of what time you go, as it can get crowded quickly. But honestly, the food is so good that it makes up for all the downsides.- Wait time

My all time favourite Korean restaurant!!! The staff are lovely and the food is amazing!!! My favourite is the chicken dolsot bibimbap which is on the lunch menu. They have a really good drinks selection too. And they always give their house made kimchi and beansprout as a side which is a lovely bonus :)

Absolutely delicious 🤤 I love their food, especially hot pots. And the service is great, staff is very friendly and quickly to serve. But the place is generally very busy and loud understandably, because the food as incredible. So it’s not a place to sit around and chat for hours. It’s a place to eat. Thanks guys for great food and service

Excellent Food and Outstanding Hospitality!
After a disappointing experience at another restaurant, we came to this well-known Korean halal restaurant, and it was a complete turnaround. Despite the long queue, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming.
The waiter even went out of their way to help us carry our baby’s pram, which made us feel so cared for. Every staff member had a smile on their face, creating such a positive and pleasant atmosphere. Their professionalism and helpful attitude stood out.
The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that we all enjoyed. The prices were very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality.
We had a wonderful experience as a group of seven adults and a 5-month-old baby, and we couldn’t be more satisfied. Thank you for your outstanding service and hospitality – we’ll definitely be back!- Service

Great Korean food, one of the best in London. The Hot pots, bibimbap and spicy chicken off the bone are tops. Very trendy younger clientel (apart from us). Go for it, you'll love it. Shame they no longer do the raw beef Bibbimbap. Not sure why, it was one of my favourites. No pre booking and queues during busy periods but worth it. 🥰

Assa is one of my favourite Korean restaurants in London and holds many fond memories for me. The spring onion pajeon (pancake) is the BEST I've tasted. I also recommend the buddae jiggae (Korean army stew) and the Korean fried chicken, and mushroom bibimbap *Chef's kiss*. Must try!

Hey, the turnaround there is really fast. I went there a few times at different times but around a rush hour and never had to wait more then 30 minutes.
